Description
One of the 12 self-made copies of Akalabeth sold by Richard Garriott at a local Computerland store eventually made it to video game publisher 'California Pacific Computers'. They promptly offered him a distribution deal with 5$ profit per sold copy. The game got a new professionally printed cover art page, instructions booklet and sold an amazing 30.000 copies nationwide.
