Description
Ultima I was second in a series of Ultima games converted by Origin and distributed by Ponycanyon for various japanese platforms. It is based on the 1986 remake and comes in the usual videotape like box featuring the original cover art work. Instead of the separate cardboard maps it has all four images printed side by side on a single cloth map. Technically this version is probably the most advanced of all as it benefits from the high-resolution display of this 16-Bit system. Unlike the original Origin titles the Ponycanyon conversions of Ultima I have a multi-piece soundtrack.
