Ultima Collectors Guide - Ultima II - C64

Description

In 1984 Sierra began to re-release Ultima II for a number of systems in much smaller, simpler boxes (6.5x9" / 17x23 cm) that had the new large Sierra logo on the front cover, often referred to as the 'grey box' editions. The C64 and Atari 8 bit versions were also distributed as combo package that contained 3 double-sided disks (Side A: C64, Side B: Atari version), and documentation that covered both systems. Later prints (typically indicated by a small "50000 copies sold" SPA sticker) contained the smaller, nylon-made cloth map without any logos (40x30 cm / 16x12"). There is only one box variation for the Combo version (A+ Magazine quote on the back).
