The European Ultima IX was released almost 4 months after the US original (it's based on the final, patched code). Apart from the UK/English language edition there are at least 2 other completely localized versions available in French and German. Additionally there are Polish, Italian, Dutch/Greek, Spanish and Portuguese editions with translated print materials but the UK/English set of CDs. The flip up box is of the EU standard size but the content is pretty much the same as the US release: Same type of manuals, cloth map (later runs have paper maps though) as well as the 8 tarot cards. This Dutch/Greek/English version contains 3 different player reference cards as well as a multilingual Easy Guide.
